The Osgood Public Library is dedicated to providing the most up-to-date library services possible.  The following are just some of the services provided by OPL.

• High-speed Internet access
• Diverse collection of Adult, Teen, and Children's materials
• Library programs for Children, Teens, and Adults
• Meeting room for public use
• Inter-library Loan: with your library card you can request material not in the library's collection to be loaned from other public libraries in and out of state.  Material is delivered to the library and must be returned by a specific date.  Ask at the Circulation desk to make a request.

• Black and White $.10/each side
• Color (printouts only) $.25/each side

Fax

• Send $1.00/ first page
• $.50/ each additional page
• Receive $0.25/ each page

 

Laminate

• $1.00/ foot
  

Non-Resident Cards $55.00/year

 

PLAC Cards $50.00/year

 

CD/DVD Repair (1 week) $3.00/each

 

 

Overdue Fees $0.25 per day, per item. Maximum $10.00 per item.

How do you get a card?  Residents age 18 or over must show one piece of photo identification bearing both name and current address or at least two pieces of identification, one with a photo and one with a current address.  Residents under 18 can obtain a card with a parent or guardian signature on the library card registration.  The parent or guardian accompanying the child must show the appropriate id for obtaining an adult card.  The parent or guardian who signs the registration is responsible for any overdue, lost, or damaged materials. 

 

Who can get a free library card for the Osgood Public Library?  Anyone who resides or owns property in Center, Delaware, Washington, or Franklin Townships.

• The Osgood Public Library Board of Trustees meet on the 4th Tuesday of the month.  Members are appointed by the Ripley Co. Council, Ripley Co. Commissioners, Jac-Cen-Del Schools and Milan Schools.
